We are looking for an experienced Communications professional based at our head office in Sydney. The key objective of the role is to develop, plan, execute and measure marketing plans and communications campaigns to support the overall marketing strategy and business objectives. To give you an idea of what this involves, you will:

  • Develop, execute and measure end to end integrated marketing plans and communications that are consistent with the Caltex brand strategy and positioning.
  • Be responsible for all aspects of advertising and promotion for Marketing and Communications to drive acquisition, retention and growth across the Caltex products and solutions including both fuel and retail.
  • Execute end to end retail campaigns including generic shopper POS on path to purchase, offers that make us famous (meal deals & coffee) and everyday offers from our various vendors.
  • Deliver key relationships with the Merchandising & Promotions team to deliver cost efficient printed communications into market, best in class representations of vendor products and legally compliant terms and conditions on our offers to market.
  • Manage the relationship between agencies and Caltex to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Ensure that all channels are regularly updated with information supporting product communications, as well as satisfying the requirements of Caltex’s various external stakeholders

To be successful you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing communications focused position, coming from either the client or agency side. Experience in shopper marketing would be highly regarded. You must have strong time management, presentation and communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as a part of a team. In addition, you will have strong initiative, project management and problem solving skills.
