About the role
You are an experienced and impactful marketer who is looking to run a team and directly influence the corporate strategy of a media organisation. Must be data driven with proven experience with digital, online, social, events, internal comms, sales collateral and DM campaigns. You will be overseeing all marketing so you will need competency in Chinese spoken and written (Cantonese, Mandarin, Simplified, Traditional) with excellent English.
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Own and execute a multi-platform, multi-channel marketing plan
- Mentor and manage a small team
- Analyse, plan, execute, monitor, debrief relevant activities
- Advocate branding transition as we expand into more digital and online channels
- Grow our readership across multiple channels.
- Track activities and impact with objectivity and transparency.
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Experience in multiple marketing channels
- Excellent knowledge of marketing concepts
- Proven ability to drive user growth in all platforms
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Experience with WeChat and Weibo highly advantageous
- Solid experience with data collating and dissemination / insights
- Mgmt or Mktg degree favoured
