An exciting opportunity exists for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Role
The role reports directly to Salvos Stores Marketing Manager at Mount Waverley where you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but is not limited to the following:
- Support the Marketing Manager in the delivery of the annual Salvos Stores marketing calendar
- Support in the draft, development & distribution of internal communication to support marketing campaigns
- Providing assistance to Salvos Stores Marketing Manager by organising the manufacture, distribution and implementation of print materials, signage, conference materials, advertising media, internal and external communications and other publications.
- Develop and implement local store marketing plans to support store openings and events under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
- Draft media releases and responses as required.
- Working closely and in collaboration with our creative agency on a daily basis.
- Respond to general marketing enquiries via all mediums
- Delivering extraordinary service to all customers (internal and external), including identifying areas of opportunity to improve overall customer satisfaction.
About you
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following attributes:
- Diploma qualified in Marketing or equivalent and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Known for your integrity, you will relate to The Salvation Army values
- A team player with strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
