About the Role

In this role, you will manage public relations, internal communications and events for an iconic Queensland company. This is a full-time, contract opportunity until August 2019.


  • Manage RACQ’s PR strategy for assistance, banking and insurance media
  • Manage internal communications output for the Group
  • Manage the successful delivery of internal and external RACQ events
  • Act as a spokesperson in the media if required
  • Write, edit and approve corporate PR content for distribution to traditional media channels
  • Support the Chief Communications Officer through planning and execution of all major campaigns

          
Skills & Experience

  • Experience and qualifications in public relations and corporate media management
  • Demonstrated event management and crisis management skills
  • Exemplary written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet competing deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and social media channels
