Powershop is one of Australia’s most innovative energy brands. We’re on the hunt for a Marketing Executive to join our marketing team working in the fast moving and dynamic energy industry.

• Experienced in managing the execution of a diverse range of marketing activities.
• A clever and innovative marketer who won’t settle for status quo.

• Able to translate business objectives into strong marketing campaigns.
• Excels in planning, time management and most importantly - copywriting.

You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager for Customer Experience and working closely with our Marketing, Sales, Operations, Data and Pricing teams to name a few, as well as external agencies and partners. 

This role is focused on planning and executing marketing activities and delivering effective Powershop campaigns to drive retention for Powershop.

What we’re looking for from you is:

You’ll have experience in a marketing communications (or a related role) and now you’re looking to work for an incredibly innovative and exciting business. You may have agency experience and are looking to come in house to show off your amazing communications skills, or you’ll be working client side and want to expand on your already extensive business experience. You’re energetic and proactive, with a tertiary degree in marketing or related field and have comprehensive, demonstrable experience in marketing or communications roles where you did clever things.

What you’ll do:

The role’s focus is to work alongside the marketing team to execute a variety of marketing activities to meet business objectives. You will be a marketing “all-rounder” able to deliver compelling customer communications and retention activities – working collaboratively with the team, across the business and with agencies and partners.  You’ll display conceptual thinking, a love of the customer and a hunger for shared success along with an injection of good humour.

As a Marketing Executive, you’ll be need to develop and implement effective marketing communications campaigns. This includes writing copy for all marketing collateral, including digital, brand, customer and technical copy (and be able to propose the best way to get this information into our customers’ hands). Monitoring ongoing campaign performance, keeping accurate records and highlighting where opportunities and improvements can occur.
