My NSW Government Client is looking for a Communications Specialist to join the team on an initial short term contract. The candidate must have Science Communication experience, Government experience is highly regarded. Excellent Communication skills Excellent Writing skills.Responsibilities & Required Skills:
- Creates, implements and oversees communications projects that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products.
- May aid in the preparation of event planning, website copy and architecture planning, presentations and/or speeches.
- Provides supervision and direction to staff.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5+ years of experience in the field.
- Familiar with a variety of government communications concepts, practices, and procedures, including briefing notes and approvals processes.
- Science Communication experience is highly desirable.
