The Company

As one of Australia's largest online retailers our client have featured in the BRW Fast 100 8 times and continue to lead the market. With a commitment to offering the best range of products and optimum customer experience and logistics they are seen as a game changer in the online retail space.

The Role

They currently have a very rare opportunity for a revenue and sales focussed marketer to lead their ecommerce and Partnerships team.

A very hands on leader you will be equally comfortable setting strategy as getting hands on with PPC results and analysis.

This diverse role requires a real expert in driving increased revenue in the online retail space as well as a true sales person who can lead the partnerships team to new levels of success in the B2B space.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To develop and grow the brand's ecommerce presence and be responsible for the development and management of the e-commerce platform.
  • Responsible for delivering significant growth in their E-commerce business identifying opportunities to continually develop their positioning through advanced Google Analytics.
  • Manage a large PPC budget to maximise ROI. You will understand the impact of every $$ and how you can continually invest to maximise returns.
  • Manage relationships with Bing and Google to continually remain at the front of all developments.
  • Understand the B2B market in this segment and develop opportunities to continually develop partnerships with schools and libraries across Australia.
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital and CRM to develop customer centric retention and cross-sell programmes
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the e-commerce strategy.
  • Manage a cohesive team of internal and external personnel to effectively develop e-commerce solutions.
  • Provide expertise on current e-commerce industry best practices. Consult on cross-functional projects to ensure e-commerce principles are incorporated.

The Person

We would love to talk to experienced online retail candidates who have a passion for delivering next level business results.

You will have extensive hands on experience managing Search and PPC campaigns and be able to get into the detail on a daily basis. Our client do not currently have any Search Agency assistance so need someone prepared to be very hands on.

You will be full of ideas and passionate about the online retail space in Australia and how to remain at the forefront of success. Ideally you will have experience in selling through social and be able to implement your success in this area to a new business.

A background/ experience in OBTM and partnerships would also be highly regarded.
