As a Communications Specialist sitting in our Marketing function, you will create engaging content and cultivate messaging that will drive customer action towards business and communication objectives, ultimately making it easier for the customer to do business with us.

The impact you’ll have
  • You’ll create engaging copy, gathering information from a variety of sources and adapting your content across a range of channels
  • You’ll form a strong partnership with our Marketing Communications Manager, helping deliver a range of marketing and customer communications and managing the tactical execution of a host of associated activities that:
    • drive digital adoption of existing customers
    • increase customer conversion
    • increase awareness of retail brands and have a positive impact on brand sentiment
    • assist customers to manage their accounts
  • You’ll help champion the brand identity across all developed materials
  • You’ll competently engage and partner with a host of external vendor partners, regularly providing briefs to creative agencies to aid the creation and delivery of relevant campaign collateral.

The talents you’ll bring
  • You’ll bring a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing or related function gained via agency or an internal “marcomms” department, underpinned by an undergraduate degree (minimum) in Communications, PR, Journalism or a related field of study
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading experience, combined with expert language skill, allowing you to create material that will inspire our customers into action
  • A natural builder of relationships, you’ll enjoy getting on the front foot, embedding yourself in the business and collating information from a variety of sources
  • You’ll possess a sound understanding of the marketing and communications function for an organisation that spans corporate and consumer audiences
  • Digital and social media experience, including Consumer related industry experience is advantageous
  • You must bring some experience in liaising with external partners and third party suppliers, including creative agencies and mail houses (preferred).
