Your role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Internal Communications, this role of Manager Internal Communications is pivotal to ensuring Australian Unity implements and delivers communication strategies that connect our workforce with its leaders, values and business.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of internal communications strategies and plans for the company, its business units and support services
  • Manage and govern key internal communications channels, including the intranet site
  • Demonstrate, explore and share internal communications best practice
  • Provide support for group internal communications projects.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A tertiary degree qualification, preferably in communications, public relations, marketing or a related business field
  • At least three years’ experience in communications, public relations or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to implement purpose-driven integrated communication strategies and plans
  • Experience with digital communication technologies, including social media platforms.
