Our client is a small membership-based organisation performing a vital role in the digital space. The organisation has Australia-wide membership comprising mainly technology industry individuals and organisations and performs important policy, operational and advocacy functions.
This is a new position driven by growth and a significant change program. It offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities which will help shape and support Australia’s digital economy.
Reporting to the Manager Marketing & Communications you will:
- Provide input and support in the development and execution of marketing and communications strategies/plans, including stakeholder communication and nation-wide education programs and campaigns to build and drive brand awareness.
- Play a lead role in the re-development and on-going management of the company’s website and wider digital presence.
- Draft and manage content across all digital channels (website, social media, members’ portal/newsletters, etc.).
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports from analytic tools.
- Provide support to line manager in the preparation of annual reports, presentations, AGM requirements, etc.
This is a full-time position but flexible working arrangements are available if it suits.
We are seeking someone with the best combination of:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or related field and/or equivalent experience in a marketing position.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing or public relations role.
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to distil highly technical information into engaging content
- Experience in developing/executing digital marketing & communications campaigns.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of social media platforms together with experience writing, creating and managing content across digital platforms.
- Strong organisational skills, good time management and a high attention to detail.
