  • Strong technical product knowledge required. Docklands Head Office location.
Customers and local communities are at the heart of our business and we continually strive to improve the way we service, support and communicate with them. As our National Product Manager, you will develop a product strategy that will make it easy for our customers to understand and choose the best product offering for them, whilst rationalising products across all states and realising efficiencies for the Transurban Group.

By thinking smarter, sharing better and adapting ahead of the curve, our people make a meaningful impact – for our customers and our teams. Together, they push further. They define change. And in doing so, they grow their diverse talents while building something to be proud of.

The impact you’ll have
  • You’ll help set the strategy, manage the overall product portfolio, identify segmentation opportunities and deliver improved reporting and analysis capability
  • You’ll keep a close eye on our competitors, helping to deliver and maintain a comprehensive competitor product and fee analysis
  • Using your influencing and communication nous, you’ll lead the charge with new product developments and enhancements to current offerings, clearly defining changes across the business and ensuring we adhere to a standard release process
  • You’ll enjoy investigating and assessing the feasibility and viability of initiatives that may impact our current or future product offerings, and be confident to present findings and recommendations to Executive level stakeholders
  • Effectively balancing critical, strategic thinking versus rolling up your sleeves, you’ll embrace getting your hands dirty and getting into the detail.

The talents you’ll bring
  • A commercially astute product specialist, you must have recent experience in a similar role, managing a broad suite of products across multiple states, with varying regulatory requirements. Exposure to large, complex customer billing and collection systems also advantageous
  • Deep technical knowledge (e.g. an understanding of product frameworks, complex regulatory environments, detailed product documentation, external market disruptions, etc.)
  • You’ll comfortably work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across the entire matrix, sharing ideas, looking for new ways to improve and being delivery focussed
  • Prior success with business case development and approval, from the initial investigative and feasibility stages through to presenting, gaining approval and then executing
  • You’ll possess the commercial acumen and insights to lead the development of enhanced products, services and customer experience.
