SALARY RANGE: $67,675 to $75,904 pa pro rata (plus 17% super)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time (22.05 hours per week) and fixed term for 12 months
LOCATION: Melbourne Burwood Campus
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for supporting student engagement activities and events to maximise the number of students nationwide seeking admission to study at Deakin at the postgraduate and undergraduate level, ensuring the University meets its recruitment and conversion targets
This will include:
- Assisting with the organisation and coordination of a range of on and off campus events, campaigns and projects.
- Promoting Deakin by engaging with prospective students and key influencers through a range of channels including face to face, online and phone.
- Representing Deakin University at Student Recruitment events, expos and campus visits, providing advice on student recruitment activities.
- Coordinating and supervising casual staff who assist with events, campus tours, major expos and other marketing activities.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary degree in marketing, public relations, education, careers education or related areas, or an Associate Diploma with experience in a related area.
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing, events, sales, project management, careers education or related areas.
- Experience in customer service and providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including excellent public speaking skills and the ability to confidently engage with a diverse range of audiences, both large and small.
