Pavement Brands is looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to work in our fun and vibrant office. This role will be responsible for creating content to support and grow the brand with particular focus on social media and digital channels.

Pavement United Brands is the leading Australian fashion retailer for Tweens. We offer trend-led, fun, quality clothing, accessories and gifts for girls and boys aged between 8-16 years old and are experiencing amazing growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive Social Media & Content Manager to join the Marketing team at Pavement Brands. 

As a savvy content strategist, you understand the vital role content and social media plays in converting visitors into leads, so while you're looking to build an audience you're always focused on how that content connects to customer acquisition. 

Working closely with the General Manager of Brand, you'll act as the 'Editor-in-Chief' for our content and use your creative storytelling/copy writing skills to ensure all content moves the brand forward. 

Leading a growing content team of outsourced and internal specialists you'll ensure our content plan is executed on like clockwork and delivering results.

You'll coordinate photo shoots, collaborating creatively with photographers and models to produce amazing fashion images. 

Reporting platforms like Google Analytics will be a go-to for gaining deep insights into what content is performing well and enabling the team to achieve our marketing objectives.

The ideal candidate should genuinely love fashion, a fast paced environment, work well under pressure and have a passion to succeed. Key to this role is experience in content management ,social media strategy, analytics and execution. This is a key role supporting a growing brand and our marketing department!

What we are looking for:

We're looking for a passionate self starter who is ready to bring their fresh new ideas to the table. Ideally you will also bring to this role -

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in developing and executing strategic content and social media marketing campaigns (not just coordinating through an agency… you've been on the frontline getting your hands dirty)
  • An obsession with all things social media and mastery of the nuances of each channel and emerging trends - you love trying out new tools and features as soon as they're released
  • Exceptionally resourceful - if you don't have the answer you go out and find it. You don't wait for someone to teach you, you teach
    yourself.
  • A strong passion for all things related to entrepreneurship and digital marketing - you likely follow all the 'big names' in the online marketing space and have studied their best practices
  • An uncanny ability to tell visual and written content stories that command attention and compel action - you likely come from a journalistic or editorial background
  • Copywriting is a skill you've mastered and you know how to leverage it in for each platform and content piece type.
  • Experience within fast environments of retail or fashion 
  • An understanding of how SEO impacts content development
  • You pride yourself on self-accountability and achieving goals
  • Want to work in a team where speed and agility is valued over 'bureaucracy and process'
  • Experience delivering campaigns with high engagement levels, running free and paid social campaigns and analysing results
  • Experience with content management systems and web analytics tools
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating digital marketing communications including social and EDM's
  • Ability to report and to recommend innovative content strategies
  • Strong organisational skills combined with the ability to handle a fast paced retail environment
  • The ability to prioritise , use initiative and perform under pressure 
  • Intermediate to advanced Adobe Creative Suite Skills

Duties and responsibilities required to fulfil this role are:

  • Liasing closely with the Brand Manager and our marketing department, working collaboratively to create content to achieve growth KPI's and sales results.
  • Create creative, fashion-focused website content
  • Develop and maintain the brand's content schedule in line with seasonal promotional calender & marketing objectives 
  • Develop , implement and manage Social Media Influencer Program utilising influencer , content creators and bloggers/ vloggers to reach our target market and increase brand awareness
  • Developing and growing our social media presence on all platforms 
  • Ensure consistency across all social and digital channels 
  • Design and produce EDMs
  • Assist with creating social media and brand content - including graphics and video
  • Manage social media engagements and enquiries
