About the role
Reporting into the executive team, you will provide leadership, strategy, and execution across marketing disciplines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll build and lead a team of talented and dedicated marketing specialists who work collaboratively with other department managers to execute on broader strategic initiatives. This role requires a high level of creativity, collaboration, attention to detail and focus/flexibility in how best to bring an idea across the finish line and adjust quickly when priorities change.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Drive the marketing strategy, planning and execution across all customer segments with a goal of driving business growth and market leadership for the business.
- Lead all aspects of upstream and downstream marketing including customer segmentation, targeting, portfolio / offer positioning, messaging, communications, campaigns, programs, and on-going lifecycle marketing and demand generation.
- Create and execute best-in-class integrated marketing strategies, campaigns and programs that drive business growth and market leadership
- Oversee the development of these campaigns and programs that include sales enablement and other channels for reaching target audiences across paid / owned / earned media across both print and online
- Leverages and in some cases leads customer insights and segmentation, and market research to inform and validate marketing direction and/or messaging
- Manages agencies for scale, expertise and additional bandwidth as required to meet business needs.
- Develops content strategy to support demand generation and content marketing campaigns.
- Partners with PR team to develop thought-leadership in the space.
Skills and Experience
- The ideal candidate has impeccable leadership and communication skills with proven success in managing fast-growing organizations focused on B2B digital marketing techniques and campaigns.
- You are a dynamic marketer/communicator who’s comfortable with measuring and reporting results. This will include leading and building a team of internal and contract resources and improving the data infrastructure for marketing decision making.
- Able to demonstrate track record of development and execution of innovative strategies to meet short- and long-term objectives.
- Entrepreneurial self-starter who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively in a high-energy environment.
- Previous experience in a marketing growth role is required, preferably for a B2B SaaS company and an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to achieve outstanding results.
- A willingness to get your hands dirty.
