Purpose / Role Overview

The Trade Marketing Manager will develop and oversee all trade marketing activities for the business of By-Health International in Australia. Need drive for a successful launch of By-Health International into Australia market and also capture the business opportunity of Chinese cross-border Ecommerce via Daigou or China Ecommerce platform.

Ensure the connection between our brand and the consumer at retail level and be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating consumer and category focused trade marketing plans. Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Consumer you will support the brand strategy executing in trade initiatives, in store consumer promotions and activation of in-trade events. Collaborating cross functionally you will be responsible for driving how our brand is represented with our retailers in market and bringing to life our campaigns to achieve our business objectives in alignment with our brand promise.

Key Objectives / Outcomes

§  Develop and execute trade marketing plans end to end aligned with the strategic goals of By-Health International

§  Manage By-Health International in-store / in-trade customer experience and ensure it is aligned with brand message and of the highest standards

§  Set and lead trade marketing activity, point of sale material, catalogue ads, consumer promotions, trade communications and trade/industry events to represent Life-Space to be best in market.

§  Manage trade marketing initiatives from conception and artwork development to production and execution ensuring high quality, cost competitive brand promotional material is delivered.

§  Evaluate effectiveness of trade marketing activities including ROI

§  Create and lead consumer promotions with retailers in line with legal requirements including permits, terms and conditions, ASMI approvals and insurances where necessary and conduct a post analysis (e.g. entries, redemptions, click through rates, demographics, consumer insights etc.)

§  Work with Marketing Manager Consumer to ensure brand guidelines are followed to ensure By-Health is represented as a premium brand

§  Continually monitor competitor activity and to ensure we are relevant in trade and in category and make recommendations based on industry

trends

§  Manager external agencies, and suppliers on a day-to-day basis, to ensure delivery of high quality trade marketing materials are delivered that are on brief and within budget guidelines

§  Partner with National Account Managers and the National Field Teams to communicate and support trade marketing initiatives and campaigns

§  Manage POS inventory for distributors / National Account Managers / Field Teams

§  Manage in-store category management and planogram layouts to

maximise sales and enhance customer experience.

§  Collaborate with PR & Partnership Team to assist with in trade activation at events and industry expos

Manage and be responsible for the Trade Marketing budget

Required Expertise

§  Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel

§  Exceptional communication skills in English both verbal and written, proficient communication in Chinese is highly preferred

§  Experience in qualitative and quantitative Market Research

§ Strong relationship management of key stakeholders and high-level negotiation skills

§  Tertiary Marketing qualification or relevant experience or equivalent experience

§  3+ yrs experience in Trade Marketing FMCG or OTC Brand

§  Complimentary medicine or Health Sector experience (desirable)

§  Experience with CHC and ASMI (desirable)

Knowledge & Experience

·         Experience in developing trade-marketing plans in collaboration with marketing teams and external creative agencies

·         Experience in consumer marketing in retail channels

·         Knowledge of market trends and category insights in the VMS category

·         Experience analysing, interpreting and responding to consumer insights and translating into deliverable trade marketing plans and key consumer messages

·         Ability to analyse category data to measure success and to develop insights.

·         Knowledge of legal requirements required for trade marketing

·         Knowledge of category management and programs tools

·         Experience in evaluating trade marketing activities and providing ROI

·         Experience in managing budgets

·         Proficiency in managing and directing agencies and strategic vendors.

·         Experience in negotiation and influencing key stakeholders

·         Thriving in a fast-paced environment managing competing priorities

·         Experience working in cross functional teams and business units

Demonstrated ability to communicate and present with confidence to influence business outcomes
