About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Events Team Manager with the ability to deliver precisely planned and flawlessly orchestrated events with a team of event managers. This full-time role works to oversee our organisation’s national events and conferences and the team that delivers them.
Reporting to the COO, this position’s primary responsibilities include:

Leading event functions and maximising outcomes

Evaluating the performance of events by analysing and interpreting data and metrics

Accountability for the overall profitability of the organisations events and achievement of performance targets

Managing the Events Team and encouraging maximum performance and dedication

Actively implement sponsorship and business development activities associated with events, membership activities, grants and corporate partnerships
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, it is highly desirable that you have:

Proven project management experience in leading national events and major conferences from end to end.

Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, complex environment, with experience meeting the needs of members, stakeholders and sponsors

Developed and lead an effective events team

Effective and engaging communication skills and negotiation ability

Superior organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
