About the Role

This position will undertake activities to assist in the generation of a high quality and a ‘high intent’ personal finance audience by providing the Content team with specific key word advice for a substantial body of new and existing articles and other key content. 

You will also help drive the continual optimisation (CRO) of the web site to maximise the conversion of the audience to qualified leads and provide web site analytics to the rest of the team, to ensure that key insights can be identified and leveraged.

Your Responsibilities

There are three main areas that this role will focus on, here are some of the key duties:

SEO

  • Monitor and evaluate search results and keyword performance across the major site verticals and develop and implement search strategies to grow high intent traffic to the web site
  • Undertake hands-on activities including keyword research, on page optimisation, link building, content promotion and site structure updates and collaborate with content team colleagues to ensure that the focus of new and existing content is aligned to attract the right audience to the site

Analytics & Insights

  • Work with the team to define the key numbers which are critical to the success of the web site and broader business
  • Work with the Group BI Specialist to sync up key GA data with the Tableau application so that key number reporting, monitoring and alerting can be established
  • Undertake ad hoc reporting requests

Conversion Rate Optimisation

  • Work with the CRO Specialist to build a commercially focused set of CRO activities which incrementally test and selectively deploy web site changes that produce pragmatic audience and revenue growing results
  • Carry out the A/B Testing regime, including the selection and maintenance of the systems used

Your Capabilities & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in SEO with a strong focus on building traffic numbers and audience quality 
  • Strong skills in Wordpress, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console
  • Experience working with SEO tools such as SEMRush and Moz and a knowledge of the latest developments, trends and best practices in the SEO community
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS and Content Management Systems such as WordPress and Kentico
  • Strong awareness of Digital success factors.
