About the role
Located at our state of the art offices in Melbourne, we have an exciting opportunity for a Value Realisation Manager to be primarily responsible for identifying, developing and implementing a process and commercial framework to track, recommend and implement retail pricing (recommending discount, credits, value via all channels) reflective of product offer propositions, customer value and the commercial objectives.
Key accountabilities
The role will actively participate as a senior leader across the Retail Pricing Team and support the development of a commercial framework to assess and then recommend market price inputs into pricing decisions across Customer Markets with direct influence of >$1 billion in price inputs across Customer Markets.
Some of the key accountabilities are as follows:
- Development and maintain a budget for weighted average discounts across each fuel type, state and segment.
- Provide recommendations and influence decision making at all levels to achieve optimal commercial outcomes for market inputs within Customer Markets
- Market Insight – Provide competitor insight to the Sales and Marketing LT to influence tactical and strategic commercial considerations and decisions.
- Modelling – Construct a robust commercial model to capture, track and recommend varying pricing scenarios / methodologies providing risk evaluations with each scenario.
- Recommend alternative commercial approaches to support the re-contracting approach across alternative product offers and services
- Commercial Management – Development and maintenance of a commercial governance framework to independently and critically assess the inputs and outcomes of market pricing recommendations against expected performance.
About you
If you are highly analytical, have good stakeholder engagement skills and have strong skills in project management, strategic planning and continuous improvement, this would be the perfect role for you.
Some of the key skills we are looking for are as follows:
- Proven experience in campaign management, recontracting and market price positioning
- Demonstrated experience across the energy industry
- Experience in managing and leading high performance teams,
- Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to contribute in a strategic capacity and execute at a tactical level
- Ability to develop and manage commercial models
