About the role
The Sales and Marketing Manager will plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the sales and marketing activities for Rehab hire. The Sales and Marketing Manager will oversee marketing strategies and management to secure profitable sales results for Rehab Hire and assist our Sales Representatives to sell and/or hire our range of products whilst providing the best solution for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing and implementing policies and systems in respect of Rehab Hire's sales and marketing;
- Production and implementation of strategies for establishing and retaining longstanding business relationships with new clients and external stakeholders;
- Researching, advising and implementing points of business development with key service providers;
- Work closely with team members to complete tender submissions;
- Oversee and supervise the team of Sales Representatives with continuous improvement to customer service;
- Review the performance of the company marketing efforts and implement strategies to ensure continued growth as required, including setting sales targets to maximise sales;
- Organise regular team meetings to ensure coordinated sales activity, product forecasting and external training to therapists and suppliers;
- Develop and oversee clinical and technical training programs for internal and external stakeholders, development of competency assessment tools to determine training needs and materials, and tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs;
- Consult on client equipment assessments to ensure clinical needs met with equipment trial;
- Manage marketing campaigns to build and maintain Rehab Hire's brand image and reputation;
- Work with Managing Director to implement growth and expansion of the company;
- Other duties as required.
Key Selection Criteria
- Physiotherapist qualification or equivalent;
- Extensive work experience in clinical practice with demonstrated clinical knowledge of seating and positioning and the impacts on pressure injuries and prescribing wheelchairs and mobility products to patients;
- Previous Sales and Marketing Management experience;
- Extensive exposure to seating and positioning products and wheelchairs gained working for manufacturers and / or distributors;
- Previous experience managing sales staff;
- Accurate record keeping and time management skills;
- Clear and precise communication skills;
- Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-faceted team;
- Ability to develop client focussed relationships.
