  • 12 month fixed contract with potential to become permanent
  • Offices in convenient City Fringe location
Our Construction client, located in the City Fringe have a fantastic opportunity for a Submissions professional. Although this role is initially a 12 month contract, it will have the potential of becoming permanent.

Your key duties will be to:
  • Design, populate and format expressions of interest, tender submissions and capability statements - including development of templates and graphics using the Adobe suite
  • Design and manage production of the packaging of submissions
  • Coordinate the bid process and liaise with internal departments (estimating, design, programming, finance, HSEQ, industrial relations) for their submission input
  • Produce submission responsibility schedules, issue to team and track throughout tender process
  • Assist in the proofing and editing of documents prior to being submitted
  • Create project sheets, organisational charts and employee resumes
  • Design marketing presentations including advertisements, invitations, posters, etc.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of templates, marketing material and collateral
  • Liaise with project teams to arrange for onsite photography, data gathering, client testimonials and other required inputs
  • Assist in the maintenance of submissions library

To be considered for this role it would be desirable to have previous and recent Submissions experience within the Construction/Development (or closely related) industry, as well as proven experience of working effectively in a high pressure, deadline driven environment. 

Your skills will be:
  • Exceptional design skills, with the ability to develop a strong and meaningful proposal
  • Ability to manage multiple bids with competing deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to conflicting priorities and be flexible 
  • Ability to work within a dynamic team environment with competing priorities and demand
  • Ability understand and interpret project briefs and present design solutions to team on a bid-by-bid basis
  • Advanced knowledge in graphic design
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think laterally and problem solve 
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
