We are currently seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team at our Lidcombe head office. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the ideal candidate will lead the way in developing, implementing, tracking and optimising Hills’ digital marketing strategy and associated campaigns across all digital channels. With a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies, the Digital Marketing Manager will drive integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. This role will work closely with the marketing team and other internal stakeholders to launch all marketing activities on time and within budget.

Specifically, the Digital Marketing Manager will be expected to:

  • Create and execute projects with cross functional teams for all web, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Act as the business lead in the digital transformation project – managing PIM and the overall E-commerce strategy
  • Develop strategies to drive web traffic to our newly launched ecommerce platform
  • Develop, execute and measure all digital communications (internal and external)
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs Maintain social media tools aligned with overall digital marketing strategy)
  • Create, manage and monitor marketing lead generation process via Microsoft Dynamics
  • Identify conversion points and optimise user funnels
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

Skills and experience

  • Passionate about Digital Marketing
  • Marketing qualifications with at least 5 years digital marketing experience  
  • Experience leading, managing and monitoring SEO/SEM, marketing database, edm’s, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Experience in driving social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, content management, run promotions and reporting on campaigns
  • Experience with marketing lead management via Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Brings proactive ideas to grow the business and make a difference
  • Creative and innovative with high attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
