DriveAway Holidays is Australia’s leading self-drive specialist, providing domestic and international car and motorhome hire, as well as international motorcycle rentals & vehicle leasing. We’re conveniently located in North Sydney, and our AU teams are supported by a global network of EU and US based specialists in their fields. We are now looking for an experienced SEM Specialist. Working within the Web Content team, this specialist’s role will be focused on improving traffic across a variety of well-established car hire and car leasing websites. We need someone with solid SEM experience with demonstrated success stories, and the ability to manage the whole process internally with minimal external resources.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Support the Marketing & Pricing teams to develop, report, optimise and grow consumer business via paid search for the DriveAway Holidays and AutoEurope brands in AU, NZ and ZA
  • Implement & manage paid search campaigns across Google & Bing with a focus on improving ROI & conversion volumes through split testing, bid strategies, ad copy updates, keyword expansions, budget pacing and execution
  • Monitor paid media best practices and industry trends to identify new campaign tactics and B2C growth opportunities
  • Provide data analysis and communicate relevant insights to key stakeholders, taking a data-first approach to account management
  • Advocate and generate buzz for digital media throughout business. Stay current with trends, technologies and emerging opportunities, testing new channels and strategies with the digital team

Experience required:

  • Proficient with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Google Sheets & Supermetrics
  • Recent experience working in a search marketing role, with a proven track record of high performance across paid search marketing
  • A demonstrated history delivering SEM growth with a focus on improving ROI & conversion rate
  • Success creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement, sales and leads
  • Excellent time-management skills with ability to achieve deliverables in a timely manner
  • 2-4 years marketing experience, ideally with some agency experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
