The Team
Group Marketing manages and promotes the University’s brand, reputation and achievements. The Strategy team is responsible for creating purpose in communications and ensuring cumulative messages are conveyed with consistency. The team engages university wide to co-create marketing strategies for each area of the university, aligning the needs, strategies and messages to develop a consistent brand message with clear purpose, tailored for each area of the university.

The Role
The Marketing Assistant works closely with and supports the Senior Portfolio Partner and Portfolio Partner for the Faculty of Business and Economics on activities to build the brand and reputation of the faculty and university overall.  The ability to work on a Friday is essential.

Selection Criteria

• Degree and min three years equivalent experience in marketing or related discipline  
• A track record of supporting marketing campaigns and activities
• Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in establishing and managing relationships with stakeholders
• Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, and navigate complex systems and structures to achieve objectives
• Perform any other duties as required and appropriate for this classification

Salary Package: from $70,699 per annum (pro-rata) (HEW Level 5), plus 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading

Appointment Type: 2 days per week (Friday essential), 12 month fixed term contract
