About the business
Liveringa Station is located in the West Kimberley Region of WA, approximately 260km east of Broome. Whilst we are primarily focused on beef production within the business, it is supported by a large scale farming operation and custom feed yard located on station which provides a diverse and motivating workplace. We are a hard working team with a strong commitment to animal welfare, safety & looking after our staff.
About the role
We are currently recruiting for a station mechanic to join our team here at Liveringa. The suitable candidate will specialise in heavy vehicle servicing & maintenance (trucks, loader, grader, dozer, tractors, trailers) but will also be required to look after a fleet of light vehicles, motorbikes & a range of farming equipment (balers, mowers, air seeder, planters).

Skills and experience
- Have a strong work ethic
- Be a qualified diesel mechanic
- Have heavy vehicle accreditation & refrigeration ticket (preferred but not essential)
- Be experienced in hydraulic & electrical systems
- Personal toolbox (small tools) - All large tools & powered equipment will be provided
- Have strong diagnostic & trouble shooting skills
- Maintain attention to detail, a positive attitude & pride in your workmanship
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Be trustworthy, reliable & time efficient
- Hold exceptional organisational skills to allow prompt ordering of parts whilst carrying out necessary tasks for the day and maintaining a clean & safe workshop
- Have sound computer skills for research, emailing & ordering
- Hold a current drivers licence
