Experienced Precast Steel Fixer
We are looking for an experienced Precast Steel Fixer to join a busy precast factory in the Western suburbs for this RARE opportunity.
A household named builder is looking for an experienced steel fixer to join their team in the Precast Factory. With the ability to work independently, read plans this is a full time, on going position starting immediately.
About the role:
- Based in busy Precast Factory in West Melbourne for a very well known builder
- Lead a new project which has at least 8 months of work the role will be based outside the factory
- Working independently or with a small team building precast columns
- NO RAIN DAYS! Guaranteed 5 days, 40 hours a week minimum
- Attractive hourly rate, paid weekly
- Time and half and double time offered
- Very solid opportunity to move into permanent position
- Busy and productive factory with a full order book.
- Strong and capable management team proving support to meet targets
To be successful for the role you will:
- Have experience as Precast or Commercial Steel Fixer
- Ability to read plans
- Confident to work independently
- Have an OH&S White card, this is ESSENTIAL
- Must have own tools, belt and nips
- Be an experienced Precast Steel fixer who can work at in a fast-paced Precast factory
- Be physically able to work in this busy factory
- Reliable, punctual and a good work ethic
