ACFS Port Logistics is an Australia privately owned company that has established itself in all major seaboard ports of Australia.
We now have a vacancy for an experienced and trade qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic to work from our Fremantle based workshop.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A relevant trade qualification
- A HR, HC, MC and forklift licence would be advantageous
- High level of technical ability and knowledge
- Be able to diagnose and rectify mechanical problems efficiently and cost effectively
- Experience in fleet work-running repairs
- Work well in a team environment
- Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in their work
- Electrical experience
- Good communication skills
This position covers:
- Breakdown roster 1 week on-call every 3 weeks
- Min 8 hour shift between hours of 5:00am and 8:00pm
- Full-time permanent
- Hourly rate plus overtime, some weekends may be required
