Harkus Traffic are offering a number of opportunities for traffic controllers with supervisory experience to join our team.

Harkus Traffic, in conjunction with Harkus Civil, have a number of contracts within the industry. As a member of the group, you must be willing to take part in various inductions across the board in order to gain the most benefit from working within the industry.

About the position:

-       Handling of a stop-slow bat, or operation of other similar traffic control signs and devices in varied weather conditions         

-       Supervising work sites

-       Full time hours – initially probation, continuing onto permanent position after probation period

-       Work throughout Melbourne

To be a successful and positive contributing member of Harkus Civil, you must have the following:

-       Previous traffic control experience

-       Current drivers license/ reliable mode of transport

-       Physical capabilities to work in various weather conditions

-       Current Construction Safety Card

-       Current Traffic Control Ticket/ Traffic Management

-       Implement traffic management plan (RIIWHS302D)

-       Control traffic with stop-slow bat (RIIWHS205D)

-       PPE - Hi-Vis gear, Hard Hat, Steel Cap Boots, Safety glasses

-       First Aid

-       Current Police Check (National) or willing to apply for one before commencement

Harkus Civil is looking for hard working and reliable employee’s as there is a large volume of work to be completed.

Prior to commencement of work, all employee’s of Harkus Civil must be inducted with Lendlease (inductions running every Wednesday and Thursday)
