- Servicing & maintaining packaging machinery
- $65K up to $80K + access to company vehicle + super + overtime + profit share
- Based predominantly in Sydney's western suburbs
Our client is a specialist in the Packaging Machine Industry and leading provider of automated and semi-automated packaging machines has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician.
Working remotely, reporting to the Service Manager in Head Office Melbourne, you will have previous field experience where ensuring client satisfaction is your primary focus.
In this highly AUTONOMOUS role you will be responsible for:
• Servicing mechanical/electrical and providing preventative maintenance,
• Machinery fault-finding,
• Onsite installations - this can involve interstate travel and weekend work.
• Completing and submitting detailed service reports
• Spare part inventory management,
• Liaising with customers on site and providing a high level of customer service,
• Servicing clients from Sydney to West Sydney and regional areas.
Do you have:
• Relevant Trade qualifications such as Maintenance Fitter, Electrician?
• Experience in machinery fault finding, preferably with packaging machines?
• The ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings?
• Experience using hand and power tools?
• Excellent customer service skills, well-presented with good communication skills?
• Willingness to travel regional, interstate and some international to the USA?
