Right now, MaddisonWright is looking to recruit enthusiastic people to join the maintenance team at Dulux in Mickleham; working in a rewarding and supportive environment. As part of the team, you will be integral in helping us safely manufacture market-leading products to the highest quality and service expectations of our customers.
This year, Dulux is stepping into the next generation of manufacturing innovation with the setup of a brand new facility in Mickleham. Their highly automated factory incorporates the latest in world-class technology and equipment.
Your new role will see you working as a Maintenance Electrician and Instrumentation Technician on a rotating shift pattern. You will adhere to start up checks/fault finding/preventative maintenance and working on machinery that provides quality assurance.
Key responsibilities include;
- Developing and following planned maintenance activities;
- Diagnosing faults and proactively managing breakdowns of equipment or process failures;
- Identifying opportunities and activities which improve plant and equipment, reliability and efficiency;
- Conduct and participate in root cause analysis of breakdowns and/or process improvement;
The successful Candidate will be;
- Trade qualified Electrician
- Trade Certificate in Instrumentation (ie Cert 3 in Instrumentation and Control) and experience in instrument calibration
- Experience in PLC based control systems and networking
- Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections
- Process and action oriented
- Committed to their work and to maintaining a safe, harm-free environment
- Able to problem-solve in a team environment
- Respectful of others beliefs and opinions
- Act with the company's core values in mind under all circumstances
- Possess or be able to obtain forklift, working at heights and confined space tickets
