Bimbadgen, situated in Pokolbin within the Hunter Valley, is a premium tourism provider in the area. The Estate features a winery, cellar door, accommodation, wedding venue, and restaurant.
Reporting to the Receptionist, the Cleaner contributes to Bimbadgen's service excellence by ensuring a high standard and clean presentation of the Bimbadgen building and accommodation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a high standard of cleaning and maintaining the presentation of the Bimbadgen building spaces including bathrooms, office spaces, foyers and common areas, restaurant, private dining room, balcony and bar area, cellar door, private tasting room and courtyard;
- Keeping the cleaner and laundry area neat and presentable;
- Delivering a high level of cleaning and presentation of the Bimbadgen Homestead and Cottage;
- Removing and replacing linen with fresh stock every turn over;
- Cleaning and restocking the fireplace ready for guest arrival (winter); and
- Restocking breakfast items, mini bar, tea and coffee provisions and guest amenities.
The successful applicant will have:
- Driver Licence
- Previous experience cleaning essential, and previous experience in housekeeping / accommodation cleaning preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Thorough work ethic and positive attitude
- The ability to work as part of a team or independently
This is a permanent part time role with 30 guaranteed hours per fortnight and the potential for additional hours. Due to the nature of the role, the Cleaner is required to commence shift at 6.30am.
