About the business and the role

Strike Force Services Pty Ltd provide commercial cleaning services / facilities management in the Mining, Power, and Government sectors throughout NSW & QLD.

We are currently looking for responsible and enthusiastic full-time cleaning supervisors and part-time leading hand to oversee workflow in the Singleton and Hunter Valley Area. Suitable candidates need to have a strong leadership drive and be prepared to grow with the business. Leading by example builds great teams and all roles are hands on to achieve the right outcomes. The roles entail leading teams, mentoring, resolving issues and serving as a link between the onsite team and all other leaders within the business.

The successful candidates will be highly skilled individuals with previous supervisory experience. They will be well versed in duties under the roles' responsibilities, ensure requirements are met as contracted, comply with all policies and procedures, and to provide a high level of cleaning duties for our clients whilst keeping safety a priority.

Job tasks and responsibilities

To be considered for this role, we require you to possess the following as a minimum -

·         Supervising skills & experience in a commercial/industrial environment

·         The ability to organise workflow and ensure that all employees/ work teams understand their delegated tasks.

·         The expertise to continually monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and mentoring

·         Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong customer service skills

·         Passion for your work performance, the results you deliver and motivation to develop your own personal knowledge and skills

·         Strong decision and problem-solving skills

·         Supervisor position available to work full time and at short notice/call outs when required

·         Leading hand position available to work night shift and weekends included and at short notice/call outs when required

·         Manual Drivers licence

Skills and experience

The following would be an advantage for this role -

·         Cleaning / Labouring skills and experience

·         Knowledge & experience of WHS regulations

·         Knowledge & experience of the safe use/handling & storage of cleaning equipment, products & consumables

·         Knowledge of Chemical Handling & Safety

·         Ability to carry out tool box talks, and inspections successfully & address any issues if / as needed

·         Intermediate computer & administrative skills

·         Reliable, punctual, professional, pride taken in your work and be able to work effectively & efficiently

Strike Force Services policy requires all employees prior to commencement to successfully complete a full medical including drug & alcohol testing (drug & alcohol testing is also ongoing during employment).
