Advanced Telecommunications Rigger required for an immediate start for projects across Sydney
Your new company
This company is a leading provider of services to clients in the telecommunications industry. We provide a range of services including design, project management and construction. We specialise in the installation, commissioning and testing of critical infrastructure.
Your new role
Your new role will to be part of a 2 man team as the lead rigger for many different telecommunications projects in around New South Wales. Below is detailed construction of the role
- Installation of telecommunications cabling and equipment
- Installation, relocation and removal of tower mounted equipment
- Working at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers and masts to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment
- Erection and fixing of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
- Termination of telecommunications cables of various types and sizes;
- Testing of cables for compliance with specifications
- Working with cranes, cherry pickers and EWP's as required carrying out works on site
- Conducting site audits
What you'll need to succeed
- Intermediate to advanced rigging certification
- EWP Ticket (Preferable)
- Working at Heights certification
- Tower rescue certification
- RF awareness certification
- Good communications skills both written and verbal
- Experience with Telstra, Optus and VHA installations standards (Preferable)
- Transmission and Microwave experience (Preferable)
