A J Stock has been established for over 120 years and are recognized as industry leaders in transport engineering and truck body building
We currently have a permanent position available for an experienced and competent all round fabricator ideally with some TIG and sheetmetal experience to work in our truck body building division.
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:-
- Relevant skills or qualifications in boiler making or body building
- Min 3 years post trade experience
- MIG welding & fabrication to a high standard
- Some experience in TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel including finishing would be an advantage but not required
- Experience in truck body building advantageous including tipper bodies, heavy duty trailers as well as pipe layout for water trucks
- Strong technical ability with ability to problem solve, read drawings and show initiative
- Have a high level of pride of workmanship and attention to detail
- Stable work history
- Ability to work with minimal supervision & within a team
- Self motivated and reliable
- Good knowledge of safe working practices
- Fork lift licence preferable
Remuneration will be based on previous experience in a similar role with excellent rates for the right person
