Instrumentation Technicians

Clough AMEC is a joint venture between Clough and AMEC Foster Wheeler. The joint venture has a long history of providing maintenance and asset management services.
We are seeking experienced instrumentation technicians for our shutdown commencing 29th June, 2018. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a company that is passionate about safety and focused on delivering successful outcomes for our clients.
Our Client is a major hazardous site which produces Ammonia and Ammonia Nitrate located on the Burrup Peninsular in Karratha, Western Australia. Successful applicants must be available for medical immediately.
Essential:
- Minimum 3-5 years working in a hazardous live plant or Petro-chemical environment
- Must have 2-3 experience in calibration (i.e Yokogawa, Emerson etc)
- Rights to Work in Australia
- WA “A” grade electrical license
- Cert 3 in Instrumentation and Controls
- Hazardous Area (EEHA)
- Current Low Voltage Rescue (within 1 year)
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate/CPR
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Working at Heights (National Accredited) – valid within 2 years
- Confined Space Entry (National Accredited) – valid within 2 years
It would be advantageous to have the below qualifications however not essential:
- High Risk License – Forklift/EWP
- HV switching
- Gas testing atmosphere
