Complete Staff Solutions are currently recruiting for a Heavy Vehicle / Plant Mechanic for a temporary 6 month assignment in Lismore.
Our client operates a well-equipped and busy workshop in the Lismore area.
They currently have an opening for a trade qualified heavy vehicle or plant mechanic to join the team for a short term 6 Month contract.
Applicants must be versatile and experienced with working on a range of equipment from light vehicles and small engines through to fleet trucks and heavy earthworks equipment. A good level of general mechanical aptitude will be required, as well as some welding skills.
Please note that a current WHS White Card is required for this role.
You will need to be flexible in your approach to work, and willing to undertake general maintenance and servicing jobs as well as urgent breakdown repairs.
Employment will be offered on a casual basis on a 6 month contract, involving full time hours each week.
This is a Monday-Friday operation – with some afternoon/night shift work required - with the bonus of an early finish on Fridays.
A current driver’s licence is essential for this role with an HR licence being a distinct advantage.
You will be expected to supply your own tools for on-site work - with all other equipment being provided by the employer.
