NPE is searching for an experienced Poly Welder for a full time position based in Kalgoorlie. There is no provision for FIFO for this role. 

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Demonstrable experience with butt weld polyethylene plastic pipelines, electro-fusion weld polyethylene pipelines, weld plastic using extrusions & injection techniques and weld plastic materials.
  • Can apply knowledge of pipe works and installations for the role.
  • Sound verbal and written communications
  • Exposure to heavy vehicles and machinery including tele-handlers, excavators and skid steers (desirable)
  • Organised and be able keep to schedule and prioritize, multi-task
  • Experience in rental, mining, construction or heavy industries(desirable)
  • Candidates must demonstrate a friendly, positive and professional attitude and be passionate and committed to their role. Along with possessing a particular focus on safety, quality and efficiency.  
  • Candidates must be able to pass requirements for mine site access.
  • Candidates must live in and have the right to work in Australia to be considered.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required:

  • HDPE poly-welding ticket
  • Current Drivers and Licences MR
  • Fork Lift licences (Desirable)
  • Current Dogging and Rigging tickets and working at heights (Desirable)
  • Telehandler & IT Loader Ticket (Desirable)
  • Chainsaw Ticket (Desirable)
