For over 30 years our client has been delivering office equipment technology solutions to a broad and diverse client base. To join their team in Melbourne, they are on the lookout for a motivated, eager to learn Junior Service Technician. This is an entry-level role, in which you can enjoy a lot of progression through the business.
Playing a key role in the service team, you will:
- work closely with the Service Manager and Warehouse Manager to learn the operations of the service department
- be involved in the delivery and set up of office equipment
- assist technicians with the set up of software
- work with their professional service manager to learn how to configure networks and the run-up of full installations over time
While this is an entry-level role, it is certainly one where you will learn a lot, and where progression steps are numerous.
To be considered for the role, we are looking for someone:
- with at least a Cert 4 in I.T.
- who has previous experience with networks / office equipment will be highly regarded
- with excellent communication skills
- who is positive, team-focused attitude, and eager to learn new skills
- with a clean, open drivers' license
- who can show stability in their working history
- With the physical capacity to lift / move light machinery around a warehouse / into client sites
