Maintenance Technician - Fitter (Mobile)
This permanent full time position is within the Maintenance department of our mobile fleet team at Christmas Creek. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on our large sized Caterpillar and Komatsu gear with particular focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Maintenance of large scale mining equipment
- Diagnostics & Fault Finding
- Workshop and pit duties as required
- Reporting and timesheeting
Qualifications and skills required:
- Australian recognised trade certificate as a motor mechanic /HD Fitter
- Previous experience working in a mining or heavy industry
- Previous mobile plant experience particularly in below gear:
- Graders- CAT 16M & 24M
- Dozers-CAT D10,D11, 854K
- Loaders-CAT 994H,988,980
- Excavators- Liebherr R9800,R9400,R9250, Terex RH340A, RH340B, CAT 6060
- Trucks-CAT 793F, Terrex MT400, Komatsu 930F
- High regard for safety
- Heavy rigid driver’s license beneficial
- EWP ticket (desirable)
