Kelly Services is currently seeking for a Maintenance Fitter to work in heavy industrial manufacturing environment based in Botany area.
Our client is one of the oldest steel manufacturing/ production company in Alexandria.
Due to recent retirement, you will be joining a stable maintenance team to provide a scheduled maintenance and attending breakdown where required. You will be working on a rotational shifts of 3 weeks day, 3 weeks afternoon and 3 weeks night.
To be eligible to the role:
- Trade qualified Maintenance Fitter
- Strong Mechanical background
- Exposure to a heavy industrial environment - Furnace and gas fired burners
- Ability to do MIG, TIG or Stick weld
- Ability to fault find and troubleshoot
- Sound understanding in WHS and safe work practises
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to details
- Strong Time Management skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and/or part of team
