FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN IS REQUIRED - IMMEDIATE START  - APPLY NOW

As a valuable member of the Biesse Group team, your duties will include:

  • Provide service and customer support during field customer visits
  • Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
  • Trouble shoot, diagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports and document processes
  • Operate equipment and machinery in a safe manner
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
  • Build positive relationships with customers and provide customer satisfaction
  • Follow workflow electronic work orders of assigned schedule work 
  • Attend product, service training locally and internationally
  • Provide training to customers and other service technicians
  • Work with spare parts, team leaders, hotliners, customer service representatives to action customer queries

We are looking for someone from ideally the wood, stone or glass industry with similar experience in the above duties. Experience in Edgebanders is highly regarded.

You must possess the following:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving and decision making ability
  • Experience in after sales functions/service
  • Self motivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience in technical service interventions mainly on industry machineries
  • Mechanical, electronic/electrical  principles knowledge
