Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our small corporate team of committed professionals. We are seeking applicants who enjoy client interaction, present well and who are reliable, committed and motivated to providing excellent service.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and submission of quotes and tenders
- Liaise effectively with suppliers, contractors & customers
- Time Management
- Procuring materials for projects
- Arranging and attending site visits
The Successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following Skills and Experience:
- Experience as an electrical estimator and knowledge of industry standards
- Knowledge in the domestic and commercial electrical industry
- Knowledge in the solar industry preferred but not essential
- Strong technical knowledge
- Highly developed inter personal, communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Flexible attitude to travel and working hours
- High attention to detail
- Experience in estimating software
- Knowledge of Aroflo software preferable
Other qualities will include the ability to:
- Collaborate effectively with other team members and external parties
- Plan your time effectively to manage competing demands, including work/ life balance
- Report effectively to management and stakeholders
- Observe the policies and procedures of the organisation.
