Due to increased production levels, Austal now has an opportunity in our Piping and Mechanical department for entry level or junior level Trades Assistants to join us on a 3 month max term contract in Henderson.
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people who have an interest in Marine Fitting, Mechanical and Piping trades. No experience required.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- An interest in Marine Fitting, Mechanical, Engineering and/or Piping as shown in your CV
- Confined space ticket
- Forklift licence
- Confidence using power and hand tools safely
- An excellent attitude towards work, and are not afraid to stand out from the rest
- Your work ethic is second to none and you take pride in your finished work
- You show initiative and work cooperatively with others in a timely manner
- Full and current Australian working rights
