BOILERMAKER/FABRICATOR REQUIRED - KALGOORLIE

This position will report to the Fabrication Leading Hand and will be responsible for duties including:

• Weld components in ALL positions to a good quality.
• High level of competency in MIG welding.
• TIG experience in aluminium & stainless steel preferred but not essential.
• Fabricate & assemble metal structures and components related to the mining industry.
• Set up, operate and maintain fabricating equipment such as welders, press breaks, rolls, shears, flame cutter, grinders and drill presses.
• Report all non-conforming, material/parts to leading hand.
• Evaluate all engineering drawings prior to commencing and insure implementation according to welding specifications.
• Complete housekeeping duties on a daily basis.
• Complete assigned work within the given time frame and according to specifications.
• Complete require paper work.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.

Successful applicant must have:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years’ experience.
• Current ‘C’ Drivers License.
• Current Forklift Ticket.
• Pass a drug & alcohol.
• Pass pre employment medical.
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills.
• Strong Organisational and Time Management skills.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• An ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• High level of safety orientation.

This position is permanent full time, Monday - Friday with Saturday work when required.  Excellent remuneration for the right applicant.
