Our client a major food processing and value adding company that has grown from humble beginnings into a great organisation with an international reputation for high quality products is seeking a qualified industrial maintenance fitter to join their large and well established facility at Rockhampton. If stability and job security are high on your list as well as the relaxed surroundings of the countryside, you will get this all within an industry that has a strong future in Australia. In this role you will be responsible for general maintenance that includes repair on a day to day basis as well as ensuring downtime is minimised. In addition you will develop and implement systems that will maximise efficiency of and minimise cost of utilities. You will also recommend and develop initiatives that will enhance productivity, efficiency and profitability of the plant. To apply for this position you will need to be trade qualified in a mechanical field along with experience in a maintenance role, any exposure to manufacturing would be an advantage.
