About the position
An exciting opportunity exists for a Maintenance Officer to carry out facility maintenance services at our Uniting AgeWell facilities and independent living units located in Hobart and surrounding areas. The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for attending to the repair, maintenance and essential services requirements of these sites.
With strong time management and communication skills, the successful candidate will have an excellent work ethic and team focus, and take great pride in their work. Due to the varied nature of the tasks involved proven trade skills and/or a broad experience in building, construction or maintenance along with computer skills will be highly regarded.

To contribute to resident's quality of life and well being through the provision of quality maintenance services.
To monitor and maintain internal and external living environments for residents including furniture, equipment, lighting, temperature, noise, safety and security.
To ensure that resident's privacy and dignity are respected during maintenance procedures involving their personal space or belongings.
