We at Simply Elite are on the hunt for eager individuals wanting to become a bus driver.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a professional bus driver will include:

• Assisting customers in reaching their destination by providing a safe and comfortable journey
• Delivering a prompt and reliable on demand transport service
• Carry out pre-departure checks and reporting mechanical defects
• Identify, address and report unsafe or unhealthy conditions, practices or behaviour in the workplace
• Maintain up to date knowledge of road laws and company policies
• Collecting correct fares, issuing tickets and checking passes
• Accurately completing recording procedures such as daily journals, time records, customer loading data and fuel and charter records

The nuts and bolts of the position:

• Working casual split shifts with potential overtime when available
• Full training and support provided on the job
• Permanent contract positions

We want to talk to you if you possess the following:

• Good communication skills, well presented with a positive and eager to learn attitude
• If you possess one of the following: C Class | MR | HR and HC licences
• A good driving record
• Are reliable and able to work varied shifts
• Ability and willingness to complete and pass the initial heavy vehicle competency based assessment through RMS
