Ben's Fencing SA is a small business that was established over 10 years ago. During that time a high quality of workmanship and reliability has seen the business grow substantially, even through times of industry wide economic decline. Our work consists mainly of larger scale civil and land development work where we install most types of fencing and concrete sleeper retaining walls.
We are looking for a new team member to join our A1 team. Applicants must demonstrate consistently high workmanship, excellent time management and a commitment to further skill development.
Applicants must be willing and able to work as an assistant, as a team leader and independently.
All applicants must have industry/construction experience and be able show examples of their previous work for inspection of quality.
- Full time employment will be pending following a 2-6 month trial and review of workmanship and general performance
- Up to 5-6 days a week will be available to the right candidate, days can vary from 4 - 10 hours depending on the job, rarely 4 hours
- Must have experience in the construction industry - training available to the right person
- Must hold a Construction White Card
- Must have contactable references
- Must have current police check
- Must have current medical clearance for physical work
- Work is either local around the St Marys area or out of the city working in new land developments, predominantly north and sometimes south
- A commitment to safety
- Basic Mig welding/ fabricating is an advantage, training is available to the right person
- Must be able to follow set routines and procedures
- Looking for a long term member of the team
- Pay rate above award
- Must have own reliable vehicle and be able to drive a manual - company car available to the right candidate
- Applicants must be reliable and punctual and should be passionate about doing things right the first time
- Must have good communication skills and be able to communicate with customers about the job being under taken
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multi task and prioritize
