Qualified heavy vehicle mechanic/leading hand for (11am-7pm shift) looking after truck fleet $34-35phr + allowances + OT and vehicle (OTE $100k)
 
We are working with the service division of Australia’s leading waste management company to recruit a leading hand to look after the small team for their 11am-7pm shift. This is a combination of hands on and leadership. The workshop looks after the fleets engines, brakes suspension etc (the bodies are under an outsourced contract).
 
The Person;

Trade qualified diesel mechanic
Fleet maintenance experience
Leading hand experience
Good with your paperwork
Must be able to work autonomously and to deadline
Ability to follow fault finding procedures
 
The Job;

Assess, diagnose and carry out repairs as necessary
Servicing, inspections and general fleet maintenance
Parts ordering and allocating work
Experience working with AC and heaters an advantage
Keeping fleet on the road – 99% KPI’s
Breakdowns (during work hours)
Shift is 11am – 7pm
Complete all required paper work
 
On offer is an excellent hourly rate of $34-35phr (neg) and there is plenty of overtime available. As leading hand you can expect to be earning in the region of $100k. If you are interested in finding out more about this role, please send your resume to us today.
