We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician / technician ( a Service technician with electrical service qualifications) to carry out service work on Fume Cabinets, Fans and scrubber systems.
Key responsibilities for this role are:
- Assist management with work planning and execution thereof in timely manner.
- Carry out Annual and Bi annual fume cabinet inspection and testing.
- Complete NATA certified testing and certification on Fume Cabinets
- Maintaining work record, compiling reports and updating asset management systems.
- Carry out electrical / mechanical fault finding on fume cabinets, fans and scrubber systems
- Carry out service and maintenance of fume scrubber
- Understand and undertake safe work practice.
- Be customer orientated and have good communication skills
- Asist with installation of new systems and commissioning
- Must be able to plan and execute own weekly / work schedule according to service work requested by clients.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in electrical fault finding and/
- Hold / qualify for restricted electrical licence or higher qualification.
- Be willing to undertake training, learn and adapt to ever changing work schedules
- Be able to in a team and positively add value to the team's performance.
- Must have proven experience, working in electric-mechanical field.
