About the business
Transit Systems is a progressive and dynamic, Australian owned, multi-national public transport company.
We are excited to be operating Region 6 bus services across Sydney's Inner West from 1 July 2018 and these services will be delivered from our Burwood, Kingsgrove, Leichhardt and Tempe depots. We are now taking applications for drivers to be a part of this historical transition.
We currently operate in Region 3 of Sydney's Metropolitan Bus Services Contract network, covering Liverpool, Fairfield and Holroyd areas.
About the role
Your principal responsibilities will include:
Conducting routine servicing of the bus fleet;
Completing unscheduled repairs and maintenance;
Attending breakdowns;
Completing bi-annual pre-inspections of vehicles for regulator inspections;
Completing servicing of workshop equipment as required; and
Any other duties as required.
Opportunities are available in both Region 3 (Smithfield & Hoxton Park) and Region 6 (Burwood, Kingsgrove, Leichhardt & Tempe)

Skills and experience
Relevant Trade Certificate
Be self motivated; and
MR Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence or above preferred however we will assist in upgrading licence
